Located in the heart of Berlin, this hotel is situated on the banks of the river Spree opposite Berlin Cathedral with an excellent and wide range of services and facilities.

Your tour of discovery around Berlin begins as soon as you enter the hotel lobby. Here you will find a unique sight, the world's largest cylindrical aquarium stretching right up to the top of the 25 metre high atrium. The hotel also offers an Asian themed restaurant, theatre-style conference rooms and a variety of recreational activities such as spa amenities, a fitness room and an indoor swimming pool.

The hotel houses lightly decorated, comfortable and contemporary accommodation consisting of rooms and suites that are tastefully decorated and feature either a spectacular view of Berlin or a colourful "sea view" of the AquaDom.

Hotel information

The conference area on the ground floor has a surface area of 1340 m², featuring a light-flooded foyer and 10 air-conditioned function rooms, some of which are connectable. The largest conference room can accommodate 437 persons in theatre-style seating. The foyer of the conference area and the Topas and Aquamarin rooms offer a wonderful view of Berlin Cathedral.

Created in September 2007, the DomLounge is a unique event location on the top floor of the hotel, offering stunning views of the capital. It features two levels with 1400 m², five function rooms and four foyers.

Food & beverage

A vast range of culinary delights are available in our restaurant "HEat", while light Asian cuisine is served at the long tables of our "Noodle Kitchen".

The Aqua Lounge and Atrium Lobby Lounge & Bar provide the ideal setting for conversation with friends or colleagues as you savour a coffee or cocktail.

Each of our 427 guest rooms and suites is stylishly furnished and offers all the amenities you would expect of a first class hotel. Rooms also offer a wonderful view of the cathedral, the river Spree and the AquaDom. In addition, all guest rooms feature cost-free Wireless LAN and high-speed internet access.

Area information

The hotel is located right in the heart of the German capital, on the banks of the river Spree, opposite the Berlin Cathedral and close to the Museum Island. Berlin's new centre begins right outside our door, where you find two of the city's hallmarks, the TV tower at Alexanderplatz and the "Rotes Rathaus" town hall.

The boulevard "Unter den Linden", the exclusive shops of Friedrichstrasse, the Brandenburg Gate and Postdamer Platz are all within walking distance of the hotel. Also nearby is the tantalising Hackesche Höfe area where the Berlin scene truly comes to life with restaurants, bars, galleries and boutiques. The Berlin Congress Center (BCC) is within easy walking distance and the ICC congress centre and exhibition grounds are only 10 kilometres away.

The coffee machine in the room and resturant selection, breakfast was excellent. Female concierge was extremely helpful.

the ironing board in the room was a little impractical and difficult for a right handed person to use because of its positioning

Very friendly and helpful staff, general comfort, location - the fish tank!

Did not try the breakfast as it is overpriced. The Heat restaurant in the hotel was both poor quality and poor service. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, usecured - it kept moving apart during the night.

Sauna etc disappointing as no supervision re wearing towels so it was not possible to use it unless you wanted to see others naked. signs ignored
